Rob began his career in London at Weatherall Green & Smith in 1997 before moving to head up the BNP Paribas Investment team in Bristol in 2005. Rob joined Clay Street in 2012, looking for the platform and flexibility to work more closely with his long-standing London-based clients. Living in rural Somerset, he still keeps a very close eye on Investment opportunities throughout the West Country.
What keeps me active
After a lifetime on a cricket or hockey pitch, staying fit matters to me. I train for regular half marathons, swim, and like to think I can still give the young’uns a run for their money on the footy pitch.
How I find balance
A round of sunny golf with mates and a winter Bath Rugby fixture with my daughter is the balm for a busy week.
What makes me happy
At the weekend, I coach an Under 10s hockey team but can otherwise be found on my farm mending fences and building bonfires, three pointers and a Landrover at my side. A reward is a trip to the local or sharing a bottle of good red with my wife.
