One Callaghan Square was developed by MEPC in 2002 and is still regarded as one of the best headquarters office buildings in the city. The property was acquired by Clay Street on behalf of a European Commercial Property Fund managed by Cordea Savills in March 2009 for £20.35m.
The property is fully occupied by Eversheds LLP by way of 2 leases expiring in April 2022. Terms were agreed to sell the SPV including a transfer of the existing loan facility to clients of Capital Trust.
The deal was completed in February 2012 at a price of £25.5m.
