Chris Dickin BSc (Hons) MRICS
Chris set up Clay Street after 10 years experience in the UK property investment market starting his career in Birmingham and later moving to London in January 2000. Working at both Chesterton and BNP Paribas Real Estate Chris gained extensive deal experience working within a ‘client focussed’ team across the commercial sectors.
Chris brings a broad range of skills and experience to both selling and acquiring property. As well as transacting investment opportunities from single assets through to portfolios such as the Cable and Wireless leaseback portfolio acquired for British Land; Chris has gained valuable experience in development projects such as acquiring Cafe Royal, Regent Street, London and working closely with long standing client EPIC on redevelopment projects such as 1-6 Dyers Buildings and 67 – 73 Moorgate, London.
Rob Atkins BEng (Hons) MRICS
Rob joined Clay Street in May 2012. With an MSc in Land Management from Reading University under his belt, Rob was accepted onto Weatherall Green & Smith’s graduate programme in 1997. After gaining his professional qualifications, Rob joined the National Investment team in London where he honed his specialism in out of town acquisitions and disposals across all sectors.
In the summer of 2005, Rob was offered the opportunity to head up BNP Paribas Real Estate’s Investment team in Bristol, working for a range of UK institutions and local property investors/property companies. After seven years of building his regional understanding, Rob took the strategic decision to return to the capital and work in a smaller, agile business that would allow him to focus more closely on his long-standing London-based clients. He does of course keep a very close eye on investment opportunities throughout the West Country.
George Freeman BSc (Hons) MSc MRICS
George graduated from UWE Bristol with a BSc (Hons) Real Estate in 2009. George then completed his APC at Workman LLP in London whilst undertaking property and asset management on the portfolios of a range of institutional and property company clients.
After professional qualification, George moved to JLL’s investment valuation department focussing on regular fund valuations, loan security assessments and acquisition appraisals. Shortly after George completed an MSc Real Estate from the University of Reading. George now focuses on sales instructions and pursuing investment acquisition opportunities on behalf of clients.
